Zurdo Elite Chief Coach · Ibiza
Kilian Sanchez Lopez
We're proud to announce our partnership with Kilian Sanchez — Zurdo Elite's chief coach.
From Barcelona, Kilian has called Ibiza home for 25 years. He's played tennis all his life and padel for 10 years — the last 5 dedicated to coaching. We've got a lot planned together.
The quality: a strong left arm — but more importantly, the right shot at the right time. His rulo into the opposite corner is a right-hand destroyer.
“We are fewer in numbers, and we generate more unusual patterns for opponents — the direction of the bounces, the angles. We hit the forehand down the middle and create more pressure than a right-hander usually can from our position.”

04 — Tactical Tip of the Month
Advantage Zurdo · Chapter 7.5 · Pattern #4
Down the Line Breaker
Punish Opponent 2 when they overcommit to the middle.
The sequence
| Z1 |
Forehand to the middle. Opponent 2 shifts middle. |
| Z2 |
Down-the-line forehand. Opponent 2 is late. |
| Z3 |
Partner finishes. |
Why it works
Opponent 2 is predictable. |
Right-handers overprotect the middle. |
Your down-the-line forehand is a natural angle. |
Opponent 1 can't help. |
Take it onto the court
This is your structure breaker.
“What bothers right-handers most is that they have to change the way they play. Many times they play automatically, from memory — and against a Zurdo that doesn't work. You force them to think the whole time, and that won't let them play without thinking.”
Kilian Sanchez · Zurdo Elite Chief Coach
