Why Zurdo Elite exists
Following 15 years semi-pro in football in the UK (and my biggest claim to fame is to have played with Jude Bellingham's Dad, Mark for Stourbridge!) I relocated to Ibiza with my wife and two cats in 2021. My mate David asked if I wanted to play this Padel thing, I wasn't convinced but gave it a try - and like most, was hooked immediately! 5 years of training and playing nearly 500 matches, I hit a block improving.
Fast forward to February 2026 and I woke up inspired - it had started with a scroll. I was hunting for footage of left-handers playing, night after night, and finding no single place to go - so why not create an instagram account for other lefties to find what I'm looking for? Surely, I'm not the only one?
I feel that watching a right-hander play is like watching through a mirror - you have to process then convert what you see before you can learn. Watching a Zurdo, you just learn. Does anybody else feel the same?
In a four-player court the angles never stop moving, and for a Zurdo, manipulating them is the whole game!
Growing up as a leftie - you get told you are different. Usually not as a compliment! ZE exists to flip that: use your rarity as a weapon. My game has gone up 2 levels - I now see the weaknesses of opponents quicker and find it easier to create point winning opportunities.
For the 900 million of us with nothing in sport built for our side. It's time to change that, who's in?

01 Instagram
Our first priority - one place to watch left-handers play, stories shared daily. Over 8,000 of you followed in six months, and our first tactics reel travelled further than anything else we have posted.
|
|
02 The eBooks
Next we built the core of our beliefs - Advantage Zurdo sets out the tactics and methods to improve your game. Zenith Zurdo as a supplement for mastery and psychology - helps you understand yourself and take more control of your actions.

03 A lefty coach on board
We are super happy and honoured to work with Kilian Sanchez, one of Ibiza's best left-handers, he helped us launch the brand. We have more planned together, watch this space!

04 ZE Brand
You'll hopefully have noticed the arrow on the Z pointing left! It represents all of us and our special talent. Zurdi Zurko is our social media representative. The character of our brand and purposely in a strong, powerful crimson against generally black and white theme. Zurdo as I'm sure you've all picked up is Spanish for Left Handed and I love the name. Elite is hopefully understood as the aspiration, not exclusive. With the Intension to become a better version of the player you were last season!

05 The Zurdo Register
This started as a private spreadsheet for finding footage to share on the Instagram account. But I thought, why not share it with everyone? Now it's become the only public record of professional Zurdos you find. There's monthly updates of rankings, career titles etc but also their Instagram handle so you can go straight to their account to follow or find content.

06 The Zurdo Monthly
We're on month 4 already! What you are reading. Five sections, once a month: a player feature, a tactical tip, the latest news and developments from ZE headquarters, and every Zurdo result and ranking move. What would you like to see regularly in future?

Record yourself playing
This month - instead of our usual tactics tips, we're making a recommendation.
We've found that one of the best ways to help level up your skills, is to record yourself playing. Watching yourself on the court can be a shock! You might see things you thought you were doing well, but aren't.... and things maybe you didn't think are good, actually are better than you think. But either way, having a visual to see yourself - how you prepare and execute a shot, your positioning and general movement around the court.
